During our Intermediate Visual Communication Design 1 Course, we were tasked in the beginning of the semester to pick a Non-Profit and redesign their brand. We started first with the mark and the typeface. Once this was established we moved on to creating mockups of other elements the brand would need. We then finished the semester by creating and printing a Brand Identity Design Guide.

For my project, I chose to rebrand the Non-Profit Operation Smile. This Non-Profit travels to other countries to perform dental/ reconstructive surgeries on children. I wanted to create a mark that was friendlier, and catered more towards the children. The mark itself includes 3 different elements: a depiction of a smile, the appearance of toothpaste, and an adult embracing a child.
